Kim Conant

Kim is a lifelong resident of Jackson County and has lived in the Horton area all of her life. She is a graduate of Hanover-Horton Highschool and Spring Arbor University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. Kim has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 15 years and has 20 years of fundraising experience and event planning. For 13 years, she was the President/Executive Director of the Jackson Civil War Society, and led in the organizing of the Jackson Civil War Muster.

Kim has served on several boards, including the Jackson County Rose Festival, and Michigan Festivals and Events Association. 

Kim holds a passion for Jackson and is a bonafide history nut. She enjoys rural life, genealogy, teaching a few music lessons, and spending time with family, friends and her 4 canine kiddos.
