Jan Epp

Board Member

Engaged to Dick Lowe (Triple R Ranch and Lowe Construction). A mother of two married sons (Equine veterinarian and Lead pilot), and 3 grandchildren, Jan continues working as a 4H leader and Sunday School teacher.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, BSN Registered Nurse, and with 51 years in Correctional Medical Services, 15 years as a Regional Vice President Michigan Department of Corrections, and 28 years Regional Health Care Administrator, has also served on National Commission on Correctional Health Care.  As a Lead Surveyor of the UM-School of Nursing, Mercy School of Nursing, and UW-Oshkosh School of Nursing. Serving more than 35 years, Jan taught nursing for many years.  Volunteer Services include the University of Idaho Health Services Board – Director Detroit Children’s Center Board – Director Hanover-Horton Historical Area Historical Society – Board member, Co-Chair Rust and Dust, Christmas Committee, and Family Fun Night Michigan Farmer’s Union Board Director.

Even with those years of service, Jan has a few hobbies and several antique booths in antique stores in Brooklyn and Jackson, and as well, helps Dick Lowe in the raising of Texas Longhorns, Scottish Highland Cattle, and miniature donkeys. Traveling is perhaps her favorite when she can find the time. Welcome aboard Jan!!
